I realize this is confusing, releasing Vitiate three different times and Deracine twice, but bear with me here. This is a final, combined vinyl release of those two demos via Gilead Media. I promise you that I will never 'release' these songs again. THIS IS IT!!!

Kaldeket is a black metal band from Minneapolis Minnesota that has existed since 2021, with two members rising out of the smoldering ashes of False, to form a new hyper focused triumphant entity that has the same beating heart and fiery fervor you’ve grown to expect from this structure. Travis and Kishel initially started Kaldeket as a way to further experiment within a studio environment, beginning with their first demo Vitiate. Kaldeket imposed their will using soaring synth leads, sharpened icy guitar riffs and a bouncy melodic bass counterpart throughout the entirety of the 3 track onslaught, with a signature organized intensity. Their second demo, Déraciné, is no exception whatsoever. Déraciné contains the same assertive attitude and succinct quality throughout the 18:37 runtime. Starting promptly with the 8 minute track “Misshapen”, woven carefully with riffs expressing anguish and displacement, the passion extends through the virtuous “Fatuous & Pitiless” leading to the ending track “Grotesque Artifact”, an offering of truculence with a slightly more hopeful resolution. Both demos are now available on vinyl for the first time via this demo collection. T&K initially started Kaldeket as a way to further experiment within a studio environment, opting to concentrate on developing their sound architecture first and foremost with no intention on playing live. However, similarly to how a lot changed in years 2020-2021, the years 2021-2023 have also offered immense change and thusly T&K have enlisted the support of 4 close confidantes to enable Kaldeket to be as compelling as possible in a live setting.
