pinkytheent Weird, mysterious cover art? Eye-watering background color to the Bandcamp page? Yessir, the makings of an A++ arcane black metal work are present. But hoo boy, this record still blew my socks off! Faster than spore germination and catchier than my pinky toe on my dresser at 2 AM. Absolutely fantastic arboreal black metal songwriting galore. All killer, zero filler. Mycorrhizae do the Great and Ancient Growth very proud; a chiming, bioluminescent, twitching altar to the Strange Fungus. Favorite track: Unwielding.

porcelainheart- This expands on the first demo in ways I didn't think were possible. I LOVE how pronounced the bass is in this album, very well produced. This sounds eerily similar to the band Kaldeket though, which is on the same label... Favorite track: Death and Leaf.

Jon Stobez A fantastic 9 in 30 ripper. Bounds of riffs and harmonies jam-packed into satisfyingly lean songs. Catchier than covid at an RFK Jr campaign event. Favorite track: Great Filtration.

This is the first full length from Mycorrhizae, entitled "The Great Filtration". For this record Collector has enlisted a very powerful ally, Forager, to assist in the distribution of fruitful mycelial networks. This powerful agglutination has resulted in a work worthy of mass sporification. The cassette release will be handled by Big Bovine Industrial Wastes and the LP release will be handled by Ixiol Productions.

Recorded in 2022 and 2023 at Big Bovine Industrial Wastes and Kooler Sound.
